Formula E

Electric propulsion is the future and what better way to test and refine the breed than through racing! It’s no secret that we are massive fans of Tesla here at Netshock, as they have managed to create the worlds best car which happens to be electric. Don’t believe us? Motortrend rated the Model S as their car of the year beating the Mercedes S class on its debut – no mean feat.

With Tesla bringing the idea of the electric car to life, McLaren, Porsche and Ferrari have made them lust worthy objects with their new hyper cars the P1, 918 and LaFerrari respectively. These aspirational manufacturers have combined electric motors with their flagship products to create lust worthy – poster cars for the new generation of car enthusiasts and car lovers alike.

This brings us to Formula E, the pinnacle of electric racing which aims to mirror the success of Formula 1 whilst pushing the boundaries of technology to improve electric propulsion for all as the technology inevitably filters down to the main stream. Thanks to technology we will witness the death of the oil powered car and the birth of mainstream electric vehicles and we here at Netshock can’t wait.
