Create your own social hub

by KieranMarch 28, 2015

Social media has taken over our lives, we can spend hours staring at it without being aware we are being sucked into a marketers dream. We all know and understand how powerful it can be, one user posting an opinion can provoke the social masses to send their comments viral.

As such, you need to be careful what you say on social networks – whether you’re a business or an individual it’s in your best interests to protect your brand image and reputation. On the flip side, we can have the overwhelming urge to share positive opinions with our connections too, so this is an excellent tool to disseminate your content through the web and promote your business.

So, you may have seen we now have a nice, shiny, new link at the top of Netshock called ‘Social Hub’. This is where we can aggregate all the posts we make on social networks into one place. It gives a really nice, pictorial view of what we’re all about, and guess what…. it was completely free to build.

This is delivered through a tool called Twine Social, which automatically generates the social hub for you and is free (with limitations). You can, of course, remove the limitations with a paid plan.

But, and this is a big but. The free & starter plans only allow you to have 1,000 page views a month (which is 33 a day). Therefore, you’ll probably need the next plan up, which costs a whopping $129 a month, which is far too much for what is essentially a uniquely laid out Twitter feed.

Style for the sake of style is pretty costly….
